Tourism growth in Nizhniy Novgorod Oblast

According to the official returns the tourism industry in Nizhniy Novgorod Oblast shows positive dynamics. For instance, in 2013, 383 thousand tourists arrived to the region. 39 thousand of then are inbound — this is 20% more than in 2012. In general, the tourist flow increased by 6.8%.
Local authorities keep developing the industry by building new hotels, holding sports events and financing museum programs.
