Air Berlin stops the flights to Russia
The German airline announced that the flights to Russia will be stopped in January 2016 due to declining passenger traffic.
It was said that since the beginning of the year the airline has already changed the program of flights several times. But unfortunately, the demand for the flights is still not as expected that is why the decision to cancel all flights to Russia, namely Düsseldorf –Moscow, Berlin – Moscow, Berlin – Kaliningrad, has made. The last flight to Moscow will be done on January, 18 in 2016.
Because of declining of the Russian rouble, the travel volume has fallen this year. The experts say that the tourist flow has decreased by 50 percent. This fact forced the foreign airlines to change their flight program by cancelling some flights to Russian cities.
