Sports events in Russia attract more and more tourists

The number of visitors of Russia keeps increasing due to the numerous sporting events taking place in the country. It started with the Rugby Sevens World Cup and World Athletic Championships in Moscow, then the Universiade in Kazan happened, and finally the Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup are coming.

The tourist inbound is expected to rise to 20%. For example, last year 23.7 million people visited Russia while in 2013 in have been more than 28 million.
