«Red tourism» in Ulyanovsk

Ulyanovsk is the place of birth of Vladimir Lenin. It is located in the Volga region. Ulyanovsk authorities plan to develop an unusual type of tourism — the «red» one, i.e. communist one. This idea was discussed with the head of China National Tourism Administration.
The main guests are supposed to be Chinese. As a result, all the street signs will be translated in Chinese and Chinese food and TV well appear. These actions meant to increase the number of tourists and bring them back to the Lenin’s homeland.
